Hi,
I successfuly installed Alfresco community 5.0.C.
I need to add a language package as an extenstion, for that i have to add the statment "<language locale="ar_SA">ARABIC</language>" to the the file web-client-config-custom.xml that (according to the readme file in tha downloaded package) is supposed to exist under "tomcat\shared\classes\alfresco\extension". the problem is that i can't find that file in the indicated location or under any folder in alfresco installation directory.

Hello,

in Alfresco 5.0.b the Explorer UI has been removed. As a result, there no longer is a web-client-config-custom.xml to configure a language pack, since the UI it did configure no longer exists.

Regards
Axel

The process for creating your own language packs is documented in the wiki here:

https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Language_Pack_Development

There is already an effort to develop an Arabic language pack:

https://crowdin.com/project/alfresco/ar

Guidelines for participating are here:

http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Community_Translations
