Properties dropdown to show above document action dropdown

HI Forum ,
I am new to share custamization, I have done LDAP ,SSO , Webscripts to upload  and show documents but not yet customized share template/view.

<strong>1.Can you please tell me what it right way to custamize share sites.?How to learn where to start..??</strong>

2.I want to show Properties dropdown to above document action dropdown in share view.
I am not able to track where to change or the flow of how share Template is bind /indexed to change positions.


Please help me please answer this two questions to get me on right track to learn alfresco.

Hi,

For your first question, take a look to Dave Draper's blog and Jeff Pott's blog. You'll find articles about customizing Share.
Concerning your second question, you should override the document-details template located in /alfresco/templates/org/alfresco. Don't touch the Alfresco file, override it in web-extension folder.
