From James Fletcher, Cloud Product Marketing Manager…

We have all seen examples of people in the news losing important and sensitive information. Well today Alfresco have announced an exciting new service that will make the use of USB drives, and associated risks, a thing of the past.

Alfresco has now launched a new cloud platform. This has new features to enable greater collaboration, and removing the risk of file sharing important files. Alfresco in the cloud is the most secure way to work together with colleagues, partners, customers and prospects on the device of your choice.

Alfresco in the Cloud is the easiest way to expand your platform reducing the need for extra infrastructure, or simply having a secure place to collaborate outside the firewall. Alfresco will be introducing a hybrid sync feature which will allow organizations to securely synchronize content between on-premise and the cloud platform.

You are invited to sign up for a 10GB complimentary account to start securely collaborating to get work done!

Also, there is a new forum for end-user questions about Alfresco Cloud.

After the cloud API is launched we'll create a developer-oriented forum for Alfresco in the Cloud.
