I have just installed the 5.1 201512 EA distribution on a Linux NAS with Share Solr and AOS and configured SSL on tomcat. It all seems to be working fine with no errors in catalina.out and normal access via Share in the browser.
When I connect from my office for iPad via AOS I can establish the connection but I cannot browse the document library. Would you you have any pointers to what might cause the problem/what to look for?
I could be wrong here, but as these are unix based systems you should be using /webdav to access the share. I am not sure to what extent this applies to office for iOS and Mac, but certainly if you access the share from iOS or Mac, you would use /webdav not /aos. See here: http://docs.alfresco.com/5.0/concepts/troubleshoot-webdav.html
Hi, thanks a lot for the idea. I just tried that, but only get a different error. Instead of an empty folder I get the message that the folder cannot be found.
I assume aos applies to all Microsoft Office products independent of the underlying operating system. But with the current installation I have the same problem on my iPad and on my Mac.
I am currently hoping that the next release will address it.
Hi, I just installed the community distribution 201602-GA now, and made small progress. From Office for Mac 15.18 and the latest office for iPad I can now create folders and upload documents to the root of the repository. I however still cannot browse the repository from both office versions.
Any more ideas what might be causing the problem? There are no error messages in the catalina.out log file.
