Activiti 6 - GA Date and Licence Type

Hello All

Could I get some clarification on the licensing of Activiti 6 please?

The Alfresco site (https://www.alfresco.com/products/business-process-management/activiti-community-edition-bpm) states that:

Activiti Community Edition is the open source alternative for Business Process Management. Distributed under the LGPLv3 license

but the activiti.org site (http://activiti.org/faq.html#WhyApacheLicense) specifies an ASL2 licence.

Which is correct?

Is there an approximate GA date for 6?

Hi,

Activiti is Apache licensed, except for the Activiti Modeler and the new Activiti 6 UI, these are LGPL v3. So all the Engine code is Apache licensed. We don't have a GA date for 6 yet, it also depends on the amount of feedback we get from the community. We are looking for organizations / people trying it out and reporting bugs and providing feedback to us.
