We have Copy 1 and Copy 2 as mass storage, with Copy 2 being a cloud device. I know that data is written to copy 2 when committed. What I'd like to know is what happens if Copy 2 is unavailable for some period of time and we continue committing documents? Will OnBase queue these up and copy them automatically to Copy 2 when it comes back up or is manual intervention required at that point?

my experience would be that Files committed while Copy2 is not available would need to be copied to Copy2 from Copy1 using Platter Management Analyze from OB Client.

Yes, that's what I was thinking would happen. Thanks!

If Copy 2 fails to commit it should be located it in Incomplete Commit Queue of Platter Management. It can be committed from there by right clicking the volume and selecting commit without the need to run analysis every time.

Thanks! I never thought to check that queue. Indeed the missing documents are there!
