Nuxeo DAM Asset publishing

Can DAM publish public and password protected links to assets so that non DAM users can access those assets. For example if I was working in a design shop and wanted to allow my customers to access an asset so they could preview what I was working on ?

Asset access: it's possible to enable anonymous access and grant read permission to anonymous users to some assets. With this, those assets will be available for anybody having the URL or browsing the UI. On asset with protected access, auth will be asked and they won't be shown to, anonymous.
