How can I get more contextual information in search results?

My organization is in the process of porting our document database from KnowledgeTree DM to Nuxeo DM, which generally meets our needs much better. However, there is at least one aspect of KnowledgeTree that seems to be woefully lacking in Nuxeo DM, and that is the display of search results.

KT displays the target word or phrase in its context in the found documents, similar to the way Google displays its search results, and prioritizes them in terms of apparent relevancy. This is incredibly helpful in determining which of the search "hits" is the desired document.

Is this a feature of Nuxeo DM that I just haven't discovered yet? If not, PLEASE add it to your list of needed improvements. Open-source search engines are already in existence that have this capability, so it shouldn't be too hard to add to Nuxeo, right?

Hi,

This feature is not implemented yet in the repository, although underlying full text index (ex: Postgreql) proposes this feature. If you are interested, you can contact our sales team so as to discuss requirements for a proposal.

We also plan to integrate Lucen Solar, but that would come later next year. Once again, if this is an important requirement for your company, and you need it in a shorter timing, please contact us.

Thank you for responding. Lucene Solr will be great.
