Hello All, I am new to nuxeo and currently in process of starting to evaluate Nuxeo for my Organization. We have a really bad experience with legacy systems and the performace deteriorates as the load on the system increases. Typically these have been linked back to RDBMS systems which start giving in after load on the system is increased. Documentation says that the Nuxeo can be configured to run on Mongo DB, I need to understand that is MongoDB being used for content repositry or the basic tables that are created in RDBMS system for eg. authenticated users etc. are also moved to MongoDB. Any insight would be helpful. The question may sound stupid to experts, but I am baffled by the vastness of the system and would need some concrete answers before I devote some serious effort into development. Thanks Again

At the moment (Fast Track 8.3) the RDBMS is still used for a few things like audit, directories and authentication (if no external authentication is used), but the upcoming Nuxeo LTS 2016 will allow you to completely run without a RDBMS.

Thanks Florent for the clarification. By when do you think we can lay our hands on the dev build for LTS.

The LTS 2016 will be released early december. Dev builds are available continuously, this is an open source platform.
