When is Facet Search coming out?

Hi, I am looking for the facet search/manager on the internet but I am not able to find it.
I found video's and examples but the source code is not available yet…

Does anybody have an Idea when this addon will be released?
Dan Tuffery is the developer who made this I think.

Hello,

as far as I know, the Ixxus facet search module is already available albeit as a commercial addon. Actually there are a couple of Alfresco partners / service providers (including my employer) that have some or another form of facet search capabilites available as addons.
Facet search is currently on the roadmap for inclusion in Alfresco cloud. There is no official word on how long it will be until a (basic) facet search is contained in the general on-premise product.

Actually during the Barcelona conference I did discuss with Ixxus guys about the thing and they were also waiting for their code to be integrated into the mainstream 🙂 Learned also that with a stack of sterling pounds one could get it immediately.

I am still waiting for the feature to become part of Alfresco upstream codebase like it was said to happen in 4.2.

But you never know. I am really not holding my breath.

Anyone know of any add-on modules for very simple case management (which is largely what the suggestions process is), where it'd be quicker to test+integrate than just write our own custom module from scratch?
