WCM Workflow, groups and email

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to:
  a) Define a WCM workflow to go to a group of people, where only one needs to approve it. I can only see ways to send to many named individuals (not a group), and they all have to approve it.
  b) Have an email sent to someone when they receive a WCM workflow task.

If not, is modifying the existing WCM workflow a sensible proposition? My knowledge of BPM workflow doesn't extend much beyond modifying the basic adhoc workflow to support groups, by changing references to bpm:assignees to be bpm:groupAssignee. Would doing this in WCM workflow break the sandbox features?

Does the lack of response mean that this isn't possible (or is everyone clever just busy)? If it matters, we're using Alfresco 2.2 Enterprise.
