Versioning - You can revert to any version with just click

This option enables you to revert to OLDER vedrsion of the content

Can somebody please let us know how to enable this "Revert" option, we tried everywhere & all configuration/settings but could not locate one.

Which version of Alfresco WCM are you using ?

You will need to be logged into Alfresco WCM as as a content manager (for the given web project) or as an admin, to see the "Revert" (to snapshot version) action …

If you navigate into the web project, you will see "Recent Snapshots" for the staging sandbox, which can be opened to show a list of snapshots versions (filtered for a given time period, eg. today, last 7 days etc). You will then have the option to revert to a selected snapshot, via the "Revert" action shown against each snapshot version.

Ah .. I think you mean Page 17 ? Assuming you have the appropriate role/permissions then you may also revert an individual file asset by navigating to the content in your sandbox (via Browse Website action) and then viewing the file history (via View Details action -> Version History).

Nope, I was referring to page # 16, where the title of the page is "Versioning" & the text within that page is

1.  All workspace assets are versioned
2.  You can revert to any version with just one click
3.  The whole production web site is versioned
4.  You can revert to any version with just one click

BTW, I was logged-in as ADMIN on Alfresco & still could not see that option.

I tried as you suggested and I've more information. We are using Alfresco Labs 3C version.

1. I went to Web Projects space
2. Added one text file
3. Enabled versioning
4. Modified text file using check-out and check-in
5. I din't see "Revert" button to switch to older versions of the text file.

Why isn't "Revert" button showed up? Am I missing something?

You need to create a Web Project (via the Create > Web Project menu in the top right hand corner) and then place your text file inside the Web Project.

The Web Projects space itself (the parent of all Web Projects) is a vanilla DM space, so anything you create in there is a standard DM asset, not a WCM asset.
