UTF-8 for Share

I use Share in Alfresco but it's not support UTF-8 for me with document open in flash. Please help me.

Do you mean the original document contains UTF-8 characters? What format was the original? Does it open in OpenOffice correctly?

It would also be useful to track down the transformed documents, i.e. the .pdf and the .swf to see if those all display correctly in a browser.

Thanks for reply, I opened it with openoffice successful for UTF-8. But view in Share it's not display UTF-8. Please for me sollution for Check and fix it. Thanks.

I understand Your idea. I have a document is Openoffice (.doc or .xls), I create Rule tranform to .pdf and then from .pdf tranform to .swf. And open file .pdf and .swf with browser successful with UTF-8. But I preview it in Share not support UTF-8  :shock: . Thanks.

Thanks for those sample documents. I can confirm that they both preview fine in Share, using Safari and Firefox 3.

Which browser are you using?

Could you post the log file here instead please? That way others could be helped by searching for the same error.

Also: Could you confirm what operating system, database, etc. your Alfresco is installed on.
