Using Alfresco for an ISO9001 Quality Index

We are looking at using Alfresco to replace our current folder structure and spreadsheet organised ISO9001 Quality Index.

One thing I've not found out how to do yet is how we can add meta data to docs, and then report over it, or subset over it.

For example we currently use list filtering in XL to find out which docs are authored and approved by which people.  I can't see how this might be done in Alfresco.

Also, is it possible to add customer attributes to docs, such as last date audited?

Thanks, in advance, for any help.

Hi,

Probably you can obtain that information querying the system via CMIS or REST apis.
So I think your better option its to build a dashlet inShare where that information could be retrieved and showed to the key user.

I am not sure I get your question, since it is fairly easy to add custom meta data and report on it… if this is what you need?
