Hi,

Initially i had created a user by username (M-999) from the alfresco explorer earlier. When i search for the user now, results with additional information appended to the username such as (M-999952f66540-35ee-47c7-9ad8-8673337448af). I tried deleting this user but was unable to do. There were no errors in the alfresco logs.

I guess this is first of this kind. Any help on this highly appreciated.

I had little time to test the same scenario in my 3.2 instance and I was interested to try. I could not reproduce your issue.
It is a very strange issue…Did you assign a user home? Is this happening for all the users or just one user?
Is it because of the special character in the user name (hyphen)? if it is happenning for all the users, then it is something wrong with your build.

Is it a stable one you downloaded? Just trying to raise questions, which might help you with some clue, though I did not provide any solution!
