User task - WSHT support planned?

So just as the industry was trying to develop some traction with WS-HumanTask 1.1, BPMN 2.0 is neutral on implementation for user task. Is there any plans to move in WSHT direction? What's Activiti's team view of standards here?

The BPMN 2.0 spec does mention the WS-HT spec vaguely, but not really concrete (only an attribute 'implementation' which you could set to 'webservice' which means WS-HT).

We did evaluate WS-HT, but we found it to be too complex for practical usage, and certainly from a Java point of view.
