Q3 2024 releases are here

 

Hyland’s Q3 releases include support for Hyland Experience Automate (Hx Automate), which enables solution builders to create content-driven automation and orchestration of enterprise services. This update helps users streamline processes, improve user productivity and accelerate time-to-value.

 

Together with this enhancement, Alfresco and Hx Automate can:

  • Enhance cross-functional usability across essential business systems, including CRMs, ERPs and collaboration tools
  • Intelligently automate processes, resulting in reduced costs and better productivity organization-wide
  • Simplify content-centric process management with low-code automation, enabling rapid development and deployment of dynamic apps in the cloud.

Additionally, the Q3 updates extend Alfresco’s leading security and governance capabilities, with highlights including:

  • Alfresco Content Services is now fully OIDC/OAUTH2 compliant, including support for Identity Provider extensions
  • Support for Hyland Identity and Access Management services
  • Legal holds are enhanced with end user support within Alfresco Digital Workspace and simplified tools for applying records and retention properties for sets of documents
  • Support for Hyland RPA that further enables governance policies to be automated

Hyland continues to review and streamline our digital properties to create one consistent and engaging experience for all customers. In support of these efforts, we are making changes to our digital collaboration platforms with updates planned over the next several months.

Updates to Alfresco product support information

 

To simplify the Alfresco product support status and compatibility process, Hyland has removed end of maintenance (EOM) information from all modules, add-ons and components on the Alfresco Product Support Status page. Modules, add-ons and components will inherit their support status from the Alfresco Content Services (ACS) or Alfresco Process Services (APS) version they are compatible with. Moving forward, customers can obtain the support status for their ACS or APS version from the Product Support Status page and navigate to the Alfresco Supported Platforms and Languages pages for supported compatible modules.

 

Additionally, Integrations and Applications listed on the Alfresco Supported Platforms and Languages pages that are not supported have been removed. Customers are encouraged to use supported, leading-edge component versions for all supported ACS or APS versions as directed in the Alfresco Releases: April and May 2024 Hyland Community post.
