User cannot join site

Bear with me as I have acquired our Alfresco system and know only the basics. I do have the admin credentials, but cannot find what version we are on, butthe footer of the Alfresco page is 2005-2012…

So, I was working with a user and he cannot access a site in which we was invited to. We use AD integration and after adding him as a Collaborator, I sent him a invite link. He clicks the link and he goes to Alfresco, logs in and then goes to a default My Dashboard page, but there is no Site… In the upper right corner he gets a button to Request to Join site… I have added him to multiple sites and all act the same way.

Other users are using these sites without issue…

HI there,

Try to add "MY sites" dashlet on his "My Dashboard page" and check out if the sites that you invited him in are there.
If they are not there, go to the pending invites for the same sites and check if the user is stil there. If its there delete it and try again.

We figured it out… the user was signing in with the wrong credentials so that is why this behavior was displayed…
