Error: There has been an error. A debug file has been created at:

/var/tmp/bitrock_debug_25277.xml

The debug file doesn't help at all. It's a huge hash value. So any ideas what I am doing wrong?
We are using debian lenny x86

Well, that document attempts to guide people along the safest path from a documentation perspective.  Do you have another machine that you could use for testing?  Running a test upgrade on the same machine as your live machine (I'm assuming it's your live machine) is not ideal - the documentation can't mandate the use of a separate machine, but it makes sense to try the upgrade and test the server in an environment that actually matches your live server.  So, what alternatives to running the installer have you investigated?
