Transformation to pdf

Hi

I have setup a content rule, so that everytime an openoffice presentation is checkedin in the 'drafts' folder it is copied into 'review' folder and transformed into pdf.

However, when I apply the rules, I get this error:

Error  Please correct the errors below then click Finish.

    * Failed to run Actions due to error: No transformation exists between mimetypes application/vnd.sun.xml.impress and text/html

I get a similar error for transfroming from MW Word to pdf:

Please correct the errors below then click OK.

    * A system error happened during the operation: Transaction didn't commit: No transformation exists between mimetypes application/msword and application/pdf

Any pointers, would be very much appreciated.

Hello,

I think this error occurs if OpenOffice is not running properly in background. In this case the transformations from [MS|Open] Office are rejected because the transformer is in an unconsistent state.

So reinstalling it and try to install it again should work ?

I am running it in VMware anyways.

Usually the problem is not installation but configuration (see http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Running_OpenOffice_From_Terminal).
