Tomcat or JBoss?

I would like to install Alfresco to evaluate it and I will be starting from scratch with few of the pre-requisites already installed.  So the field is wide-open - I can install anything.  Given that, and the fact that I'm totally new to J2EE (though not to programming or system administration in general), should I install Tomcat or JBoss?  Does it matter?

thanks,

janine

Hello,

You are probably best starting off with TomCat rather than JBoss - as it's simplier and smaller both in deployment size and memory usage.

Hopefully even though you are new to J2EE you should find the instructions + README pretty easy to follow - let us know if you have any issues.

Cheers,

Kevin

Thank you, I will - nothing like a newbie to find all the little ambiguities and places where things can go wrong. Smiley Happy
