Terminate execution of currently executing workflow without changing process template

Hello,

Assume i have a workflow which has "n" number of steps

Start - > User Task1 -> UserTask 2………………………-> UserTask3

Currently say UserTask 25 is executing, user issues "STOP" execution from GUI.
I need to terminate complete process instance, i shouldnt execute future tasks.

How to do it in java @runtime. Is there any API ?

Yes, use the deleteProcessInstance method on the runtimeService.
