How to use org.activiti.engine.impl.calendar.BusinessCalendar

Anybody here help me in knowing how to use org.activiti.engine.impl.calendar.BusinessCalendar in Activiti 5.14. I have go thorugh some posts respective this but not able to grasp how to use this api.

The business calendar is used to work with timers in the Activiti Engine. The BusinessCalendar interface can be used to implement your own logic if needed. In the process engine configuration you can set your custom business calendar implementation through the businessCalendarManager property.

in activiti sources.

May I know where i can find org.activiti.engine.test.bpmn.usertask.TaskDueDateExtensionsTest & it's usuage. No clue what do you mean by activiti sources. No package visible org.activiti.engine.test.bpmn.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the source code links. Have gone through the due date example(TaskDueDateExtensionsTest.java) class.  This class simply setting some date as due date but it's not skipping the calendar holidays(sat & sun) and also not considering working hours.

is there something like I mentioned is possible in Activiti OR do I need to write my own busines logic to achieve this.

I would say you will need your own calendar for this.
