Is it possibile to configure Alfresco (4.2.f) to sync users/groups with a LDAP Server (in my case, apacheds) and dont, necessarily, authtenticate with it?

Right now, Im doing both, I sync my users and have my ldap.authentication activated. When I disable the authentication, my users get disabled as well. I couldnt manage to find a combination of properties that allows me to have those users enabled.

Thx.

Thx for the answer. But, as I said, when i set the ldap.authantication to false, it disable my sync users. Not sure if I am doing something wrong…

How have you configured your authentication.chain properties?

When i set ldap.authentication.active=false and ldap.synchronization.active=true, my users get an Account Status disabled.
