Specific Workflow to specific Class

Can I assign a specific kind of workflow to a specific class of document (Model) in Alfresco?

What you may be interested in are Rules. http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Define_Rules which can be related to the type of your content.

Workflow will run on whatever content is given to it and is not tied to a specific class of document.

I have the same requirement and I guess I'll have to override the StartAdvancedWorkflow class of Alfresco to bypass the first step of the wizard : the step that lets you choose the workflow definition.
I'll have to make the wizard automatically choose the workflow definition depending on the content type of the content item.

What do you think ?
