Space URL

I just want to point a Space, and put in my email, so anyone who want to go to a space in alfresco can go there faster.

but, I see all the url is browse.jsp

i think that is not good to let everyone click one by one to the space to go.

any idea?

We have servlet URLs to solve this issue:
http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/URL_Addressability#ExternalAccessServlet

If you look at the links generated on the Space Details page in the links panel - you will see External Access URL link which uses the servlet as discussed above.

If you look at the wiki docs, you will see that the "browse" external URLs are formed from the NodeRef of the Space to navigate too, e.g.

http://localhost/mspace/navigate/browse/workspace/SpacesStore/5bbb893f-cf93-11da-90de-2fff36cf20b3

That should work for your "Promo" space - and you can append "?guest=true" to remove the need for login.

The SpacesStore is the default Alfresco repository "store" that the web-client puts the spaces and content in by default. There can be multiple stores in a single repository.

in my alfresco, i got that 5bbb893f-cf93-11da-90de-2fff36cf20b3 = "Compiere Fast Track" Space

I think, that is not a good start to remember the id, even the Id work well here.

I try this

http://localhost/mspace/navigate/showDocDetails/webdav/Compiere Fast Track

the system goes error.

I just get this

nodeid = id of the space

after that we can get the fille attached in that space

but the readable url.

like /space/Guest%20Home/file.pdf?guest=true

to download a file.pdf in Guest Home Space.

I got it, to get the id, go to detail view, and click the external access.

On the Details page for a document/space - there is an Alfresco Node Reference link you can copy/paste.
