Space name with a '!' unavailable via webdav

Hi all,

have just started using Alfresco 2.9B and it is really cool… Thanks.

I have found what I guess is a small issue but there you go. It is to be expected.

Under our Projects space we have a space for training materials, ubder that we have further spaces for topics etc. I created two spaces for Joomla! 1.0 and Joomla! 1.5.

In the web UI they are fine. However, when I access them using Nautilus (My desktop is Ubuntu 7.10) and webdav, they appear - ever so briefly then disappear completely from the tree view.

If I view the tree in Firefox it is fine. But obviously I lose any drag & drop facilities.

Do you think this is a bug in Nautilus? Or is "!" a character that should not be permitted in a space title/name?

Looks like a bug in your client application - I've just tested successfully with Transmit on Mac OS X and it all worked as expected.

I'll drop a note to the Gnome guys. Nautilus is their file manager app and is the default on most Linux Distros…
