SOLVED: Upgrade path --- versions not available

Hello,

I am currently running community 3.0 and am looking to upgrade to the new 3.4 version. I've read the recommended upgrade path that is on this wiki page: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/General_Upgrade_Process   I have a few steps to get from 3.0 to 3.4.

Problem is that these older versions of Alfresco (3.1 - 3.3) are not available for download anywhere on the Alfresco website! Reading other posts on this forum it seems they are only available on the Support network for Enterprise customers.

Why are these not available for download on the public site?

The older community versions are available.   Either from sourceforge or this wiki.

Ok, thanks.  For anyone who is looking, here is the link to sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/alfresco/files/%5BArchive%5D/

The upgrade path says that you need to go 3.0 -> 3.1 -> 3.2, however I have just successfully upgraded from 3.0 directly to 3.2.  Make sure that you reset your admin password to 'admin' before you start the upgrade though, or you will get some nasty errors in the tomcat logs.

Just to add to this, I was getting errors upgrading from 3.2 to 3.3 - No ContentData Value exists.

I found this about the issue:  https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALF-2719  and was successfully able to use the workaround by setting the following in alfresco-global.properties as I was upgrading: system.content.contentUrlConverter.runAsScheduledJob=true
