SMB Storage Location?

Are the files ultimately stored in the database or somewhere on the file system?  I'm using the linux community installer under Ubuntu - if they are on the file system, please let me know where I can find them.

On the file system,  where you have configured them to go.   If you have not changed anything then they will be in a folder called "alf_data"
