Simple HTML upload in IE not working

Hi,

I have a strange problem with Share in version 4.0d. When I use Chrome or Firefox to upload documents to a folder everything works smoothly (both by dragging and dropping and simple upload), however, in IE 8 I can not upload via the simple upload mechanism. I know that drag-and-drop is not available in IE but when I try to upload manually I always get a "Failure" message and no more explanation than that. Does anyone know what might be going on?

You did some modification in the upload script? Sometimes IE don't recognize some script. What's your IE version? Try this: in IE, press F12 and set the Navegator Mode and the Document Mode to another version.

Thanks for your answer, Guilherme_souza. I haven't changed the upload script and I just tried your suggestion and I still get the same results. However, I don't get anything in the logs so I've got no idea where to begin fixing this…

I had this problem one time, but it was when i was editing the upload form, so i made a data validation and the Internet Explorer 8 could not run the script, but i don't know why. So i removed the modifications that I made and he worked. But if you didn't any modification i don't know what is it. Try update your IE to a newer version.
