Save Changes Approval

Hello, i'm just starting to look at advanced workflows.

Before I get any further, is it possible to create a workflow that when a file is changed or has a new version uploaded, will start the workflow, and require a user/group to review the changes and approve them before the changes are applied publicly to the file on alfresco.

There is a check out check in functionality.In order to edit the document user has to check out it first so you can trigger your workflow on working copy of document which will be edited during various stages of workflow.Once it get final approval you can checkin that working copy again.Also enable versioning on that document so that it will create new version.
Just a though process not implemented this previously.
