Rules - Use across multiple spaces?

Hi,

I have created a rule to apply versioning to inbound items within a space and all of its sub spaces.

Can this same rule be re used within different spaces?

Essentially a list of user defined rules that can selected and applied to space instead of recreating the same or similar rules a number of times to seperate spaces.

Thanks in advance for your helps,

Dave Wild

Hi,

No, you can not re-use rules in this way at the moment unfortunately. There have been discussions on such a feature but there is no fixed timeframe for it at the moment.

Feel free to raise a JIRA issue for this improvement so you can track the progress.

hello all,

am a very new newbie,

have 10 spaces, 7 of which are related and the 3 others not.

I too, wondered if I could apply versioning and effectivity to the 7 without affecting the others.

What would be a good workaround for a non-techie documentation guy like me?

thanks much.
