Restricting access rights to a particular group of users

Dear All,

Could anyone help me in defining rights to a certain group (different from Admin, Collaborators, Contributor, etc), so that the member of that particular group can only access the files they are allowed to. The simplest ways (I am very basic newbie) are most welcome

You do this by changing the permissions for the parent folder these files are in. Easiest way is to use the repository library add the custom permissions for your folder and remove Inherit Permissions.
