Q4 2024 releases are here

Hyland’s Q4 releases for Alfresco include a native connector for the initial release of Hyland Insight, a solution that unlocks the full potential of enterprise content by preparing it for gen AI applications. Together with Hyland Insight, users can:

• Leverage AI agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to search, retrieve and generate accurate and relevant information
• Provide instructions to Discovery AI agents that specialize in different areas of the business 
• Promote trust and transparency by accessing source documents and source information
  
  

Alfresco customers also benefit from enhancements throughout the product, including:

• New options for audit data storage that enables administrators to control where and how audit data is stored and analyzed
• Menu customization in Alfresco Mobile Workspace, which enables solution builders to simplify or add functionality to address specific business requirements
• Streamlined user experiences for both solution builders and end users, as well as optimization guidance for Alfresco Process Services
  
  

Additional releases include:

• Alfresco Content Accelerator 4.1 and Alfresco Enterprise Viewer 4.1
• Hyland for Workday, an approved Built on Workday application that provides Workday customers the ability to capture, index, search, view, manage and retain content that is or needs to be associated to Workday records — directly from Workday screens
• Hyland RPA 24.2, which delivers new RPA Attended Automation capabilities as well as expanded integration options
• Hyland Services offerings:
• Success Paths allow you to maximize your Hyland solution with the technical support program of your choice, offering the best-fit for personalized support and guidance
• Hyland Assist, a new Managed Services tier, provides on-demand consulting and configuration recommendations, best practices and design reviews, and troubleshooting assistance

Transition from Entrust to GlobalSign certificates

Over the next year, Hyland will transition all its public SSL/TLS digital certificates from Entrust to GlobalSign. As each Entrust-signed certificate comes up for expiration, it will be replaced by a certificate signed by GlobalSign.

Customers and partners who employ our cloud services will need to ensure that client systems have the GlobalSign Root R6 certificate installed into their trusted root certificate stores.

While most Hyland Cloud customer environments will already have the GlobalSign Root R6 certificate installed by default, some proprietary client software and tightly controlled operational environments may not. Therefore, manual importation of the GlobalSign Root R6 into trusted root certificate stores and keychains may be required.
