relationship between RM and Alfresco Repository

Hello can i have relation between RM and my repository to apply record management rules on my repository folders ?
if i should move them to record management site
how can i do automatically a synchornization between my repository and my record management site?

Can you be more specific regarding the synchronization?… the content from repo can be synced with RM site… but whats the criteria under which you would like the sync to happen… i am supposing the complete sync is not what you are looking for…

Did you find any solution to this?
I need to implement saved search on repository content. So can we not search acrossrepository using record management site, as it's not possible to declare everything in repository as a record. I can see the record search which is searching within the site only. Is there anything on record management I'm missing?

Which version of RM are you using?

Later versions allow you to declare in-place records.  These can be retrieved as part of a normal search alongside regular content, assuming the users permissions allow that.
