Recent activities email not being sent to all members in a Site

I have a Share site with 30 members in it and some of them complain that they are not getting anymore the Recent Activities email.
After double checking with the email gateway logs, I saw how the Alfresco server sends that email not to all the members.

Anyone experienced the same issue?

Alfresco 4.2.c
SMTP with no authentication

Have you verified that there has been recent activities within the site?  The recent activities email is a combination of all recent activities for all sites that the user is a member of.  If the users are only members of sites that have had no recent activity, then the would not receive an email.

Users are also able to disable the email notifications themselves if they desire.  You might want to make sure that the users who aren't receiving the notifications haven't disabled them.  Notifications can be enabled/disabled by users by editing their user profile and clicking on the "Notifications" section.  There is a checkbox to enable/disable the notification feed.

Hi and thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have one only site and some of the members get the Recent activities email and some of then don't but they used to. Last night I forced adding some content and today I got the email but they (some) didn't.

Also checked that they have notifications enabled.

Have you verified that the users who are not receiving the notifications have at least consumer access to the documents that are be added/changed in the site?  Also, can you verify that the users email addresses are set up correctly on the user nodes in Alfresco?

Yes, all the users are sync'ed from the Active Directory server and they have all correctly set their email address. Also verified that some of them have a Consumer role and others are Collaborators. Couldn't find a pattern.

Finally I found a solution by looking into the source code:

Hope it helps.
