Projects Folder on Alfresco 2.9B

Dear Engineer,


i´ve used Alfresco 2.9B Community version and i see there is Projects Folder already exist to provide project collaborations, and there is addition menu Create-Create Project itś very helpful but when i try to rename Projects folder into Building Projects i got Create Project menu is disappear from create menu.

and when i try to create folder from wizard and choose project template there is error said A Space or File with that name already exists: foldersname, even creating new folder that is doesn´t exist but system always said the folder exist.

Can we rename project folder into other name ?

Ie download 2.9C_Dev and installed it on my machine now, but issue still happen, when i rename Projects to Project Folders than Action Create Project disappear.

i use alfresco-community-tomcat-2.9C_dev.tar.gz from nightly builds, for fresh installation, and i also use alfresco-community-war-2.9C_dev.tar.gz for upgrading existing one, but the problem still occurs is there any way to solve this problems ??

Hi,

you are right, I have tested with today´s nightly and still when the "Projects" space is renamed, the menu option "New Project" disappears. However, there is a workaround: you can create a project wherever you want:

Create > Advanced Space Wizard > Starting Space …Using a Template > Select a template… New Project

It works and, the missing menu entry is just a minor annoyance.

And it is announced to be fixed in the 2.9 series.

Thanks for advice, i will wait for 2.9 released one, i also found there is a bug on 2.9B, try to modify user or profiles, when i try to change User Homes location to other location/space it is still loading and will not work, also when modify profiles try to change avatar still loading and not work.

btw hopefully will work on 2.9 release, and will be soon to be release for 2.9 version.
