Problem with PDFs preview in Share

Hi,
After spending all day looking at the forum, and testing, I can't solve my problem: I just installed the version 4.2.a (Community) and I have a problem with the  PDF files preview in both Firefox (version 16.0.1), as Chrome. It fails to show the documents in the preview, when I navigate to the document details page. I get no error in the log, and it not really throws any error, just it stays loading to preview the document but does not load ever. It works fine the first time when I upload the document, I can see the document, but the following times Share never reloads the preview.
To my surprise it works perfectly in IE 9 …
I give more details of the environment:
4.2.a Alfresco on Windows 7 with tomcat 6.0.32.
16.0.1 Firefox with Adobe Flash Player 11.4.402.287 —-> only works the first PREVIEW
IE 9, Adobe Flash Player 11.4.402.287 —> ALWAYS PREVIEW WORKS
SWFTools version is the latest, 0.91.

I'm having the same issue running out-of-the-box 4.2.a CE on Windows 2008 HyperV R2 against MySQL.
Same thing… Chrome & Firefox only work the first time, IE does every time. No errors or warnings in the logs, even with several classes loglevels on DEBUG.

Another, perhaps unrelated, problem I had, was with ghostscript not being installed (perhaps this is a HyperV problem?) and, thus, getting errors from imagemagick's convert.exe (exitcode: 255) when generating thumbnails. Installing the latest ghostscript & imagemagick solved this issue for me (though I'm not sure an ImageMagick update is necessary).

I have just downloaded 4.2.b and… the problem was fixed 🙂

We believe this issue is now fixed - there was a problem with multi-page previews in Community 4.2.a (in fact, a number of issues with previews generally) - you should find the latest build works.
