Problem with pdf preview

Hi guys,

I've installed the Version 4 of Alfresco Community Edition on a Windows Server 2008 R2.
The preview of office documents like word works without problems after install the openoffice service.

The Preview of pdf documents actually doesn't work.

I have installed followed programs:
- alfresco 4
- flashplayer 11
- ImageMagick
- pdf2swf

and i tested with few browsers (chrome, ff, ie9)

can anyone give me some tipps?

Did you install as Community bundle or as WAR/ Tomcat install under a WAMP stack?
I see you seem to have pdf2swf installed - as part of swftools?
Check that alfresco-global.properties file includes the lines

swf.exe=/usr/bin/pdf2swf‍

- the above lines are for Linux, change this so that it points to where pdf2swf is located in your windows os.

You should check alfresco.log file. There should be useful information in it.
If you can preview OpenOffice documents but not PDF, there might be an probleme with the PDF file. Did you try many PDFs from various sources ?

Try converting a Word file into PDF with OpenOffice, import that PDF file to Alfresco and check if you can preview it.
