Please help! Regarding HTTPS access to Alfresco

I can get to Alfresco on the local server via https://serverIP:8443/share.  And we have a public IP that points to the internal IP and I have tried typing a number of combinations such as https://publicIP:8443/share and have no luck. Does anyone know how to setup to where I can get to the internal system via an outside URL?

Hello,

is your public IP routed to alfresco server? Is the server listening on that IP address? You may have some firewall or something in place.

At my installation, we have apache and mod_jk in front of tomcat, so apache handles both http and https, as well as multiple domains and IP's access.
