Hi all,
I need a explanation, please.
I did not understand if the file "ldap-ad-authentication.properties" must be in the "\tomcat\webapps\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\subsystems\Authentication\ldap-ad" or in "\tomcat\shared\classes\alfresco\extension\subsystems\Authentication\ldap-ad"
In some articles talking about the first one and in others the second path.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks a lot
Ivan

Hi,
the second one is the correct folder.
Moreover you should create a folder under
\tomcat\shared\classes\alfresco\extension\subsystems\Authentication\ldap-ad
named as you wish (e.g.
ldap1
) , representing the instance of the authentication, then put the file inside this folder.

Andrea

And you only need to fiddle with the subsystem overrides if you have more than one ldap authenticator or something complicated to do.   For a "normal" install with only one ldap connection just put your settings in alfresco-global.properties.

The important rule for configuration is that everything under WEB-INF is read only and should not be changed.   You can look at it for reference if needed.
