Notify Activities with Mail

Hi @all,

how can i set that the user get a Mail notification when something (like, answer on a Diskussion, or a new Diskussion was created) happens in Alfresco.

i think there should be done something onb this File:
alfresco activity-list.get.properties
but what, i do not understand that with 0 - 1- 2 - 3 -4 in the brackets

is there somewhere else that i have to do regarding email outbound and stuff like that.

siteinvite works perfect but not activity

Can somebody help me  !

I'm interested as well.  For instance when a new document is uploaded or edited, etc….

Like most of the documentation it does not go into any detail, but only gives arbitrary values for inputs.

What do the 0-5 values actually mean, and most of the items look to be controlled by two sets of brackets where inputs would go.

Those values are substitutable properties.    {0} for the first one, etc.      Look here for more detailed info: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/MessageFormat.html

If you look at that alfresco docs page you specify the key is given above the messages.

for example {0} is "Item title / page link"
