Hi, i have a alfresco 4.2 comunity instance hosted on windows server. After one of upgrades, i got a report that workflows aren't available any more ( click on "start workflow" button opens a empty dropdown menu). Rollback to a older version didn't solve the issue. Seems that since it's a small instance with a few users, noone reported a problem that manifested even before last upgrade. What can be done to restore default workflows ?
From which version you have upgraded? It might be the case in your older version all workflows are jbpm workflows but in new version by default jbpm is disabled so you need to enable it from alfresco-global.properties I think.
We're usualy using latest main subrelease ( e.g. 4.2 ) so last upgrade was made from 4.1. I believe that the workflows vanished even eralyer since the rollback to previous version didn't help. I'll test your solution and give feedback, thank you !
EDIT: my properties file already contains the following: File path: C:\Alfresco4.2\tomcat\shared\classes File content snippet: ### BPM Engine ### system.workflow.engine.jbpm.enabled=true
Would that be enough ? Seems that's not the issue.
EDIT2: Seems i have no workflow console in admin tools neither
I'm experiencing the same issue. I checked right after the upgrade in the workflow-console "show workflows all" and there is nothing. I checked the JBPM flag system.workflow.engine.jbpm.enabled=true is set also. I'm using Enterprise version 4.1.4. I've attempted to create/submit content into the workflow and it doesn't show up either. Did anyone get a resolution on this?
