New user registration functionality

Hi!
I'm new user/developer of alfresco and very impressed by existing and future planned functionality. I understand that the product is in its early stage, and there is a lack of documentation. So I apologies in advance for a newbie question.

I'd like to create the "new user registration" functionality with predefined space structure creation and some preconfigured flows to be executed during first login.

Example:
1.   New user created with registration form.
2.   Mail confirmation sent.
3.   Some configuration/questionnaire executed during first login in order to configure user's space.


I passed over the documentation and played with repository access samples. I'd like to get directions I need to investigate in order to implement described functionality

There is a customisation guide in the wiki that has several examples you can use, including one that replaces the standard LoginBean and login.jsp, you can find it here: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Web_Client_Customisation_Guide

We also have a wizard framework which makes it easy to add extra steps to existing wizards, unfortunately, the New User Wizard is one of those that has not been converted to the new framework yet. However, it should still be fairly simple to add what you need, you may just find you need to modify some of our pages.

All remaining wizards will be converted to the new framework in the 1.4 timeframe.
