Are there any potential issues with running multiple ProcessEngine instances connected to different databases within a single JVM? Any shared locks, static objects, concurrency concerns, etc?

I did it in the simulation engine. (activiti-crystalball http://gro-mar.github.io/activiti-crystalball/)
And it works.
