Which version of Alfresco are you using?
How is it deployed?
What steps do you take to produce the error?

Thanks,
Mike

xamp =apache + php + tomcat (addon)

Deployed: I added alfresco.war to f:\xampp\tomcat\webapps

After starting tomcat_bat, the directory alfresco was created. I got error. I changed some files in f:\xampp\tomcat\webapps\… (the ones I posted in a previous topic) (de alf_data path etc)

the path from apache = f:\xampp\tomcat\webapps\…

I restarted tomcat_start.bat.

I never setup some other changes. Can you help?

Sorry, but could you answer all my question first please? There's not enough information here to help you.

Thanks,

Ok, I suspect you've configured your apache incorrectly.

Try going directly to Tomcat (i.e. localhost:8080/alfresco) and see if the problem still occurs.

I don't understand what you're telling now. The working directory of apache is f:\xampp\tomcat\webapps

Instead of browsing to http://localhost/alfresco/ go instead to http://localhost:8080/alfresco/

This gets the web browser to bypass the Apache web server and go directly to the Tomcat application server.

It might be worth you reading up on the differences between the two and how best to configure them to work together.

Thanks,
Mike

Dear Mike,

I've just installed Alfresco 3.3 and every time I type http://localhost:8080/alfresco I get a 404 error message. Tomcat is ok (v.6), since when I type http://localhost:8080 I see the traditional Tomcat page running.

Any idea what is causing this? Thanks!
