Hi.

I want to monitor Alfresco with check_alfresco, from NRPE. I've downloaded plugin from: http://forge.alfresco.com/projects/nagios4alfresco/
but I have a problem.
# check_alfresco -U service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://localhost:50500/alfresco/jmxrmi -O \
Alfresco:Name=ContentStore,Type=org.alfresco.repo.content.filestore.FileContentStore,Root=/data/alf_data/contentstore.deleted \
-A TotalSize -username 'myMonitorRole' -password 'myPassword' -w 1 -c 10
JMX CRITICAL - objectName not found [Alfresco:Name=ContentStore,Type=org.alfresco.repo.content.filestore.FileContentStore,Root=/data/alf_data/contentstore.deleted] |TotalSize=not;;;

And I got similar error for all checks specified in nagios4alfresco package. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi jsosic,

unfortunately I have no idea, but did you check this post:
http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=23381&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=Nagios

Maybe a try on a nagios list?

Good luck!

Regards,
Ivan

Hi, I was wondering if you ever found a solution to this problem, I'm experiencing the same thing.

Nevermind, it appears that JMX isn't provided with Alfresco community.

i'm trying to use the same plugin or check_alfresco…. my question is:
how to install this plugin?

I couldn't find any documentation about using this plugin
