Migration from 4.2.f to 5.0.b

We tried Alfresco migration from 4.2.f from 5.0.b in our test server. Moved all our files from live to test. Unfortunately we weren't able to perform any basic search functions - sites or documents. Please find the attached file for the problem.Can you please let me know if anyone else has faced this issue? How this problem can be handled from our end?

I think the only way your going to have anyone help you is if you go into greater detail about the process you took for the migration.

That error is a general error and can mean any number of things.

Please find the attached files for process that we took for migration. I m not a technical guy, I have to intimate the information to the person who maintains this tool.

The only thing in these files is where you have basically imported the alf_data and the database dump for the new install.

You might want to look at your alfresco.log or catalina.out to see if there are error messages.
