Merging Two Alfrescos

We have two different alfresco's running. Is there an easy way of merging the data within both of these alfresco's? I have tried using the export/import capabilities but the xsd files seem to not be in sync once this is done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Both Alfresco server version should be same for Import and Export to work properly.

Alternatively you can use CIFS/FTP to copy content from one Alfresco to other.
