Hi,
I am a Newbie here, Alfresco looks very interesting and very easy to use.
One area where I am struggling to get my head around, is the definition of access rules to limit access to the various Spaces. We have the following scenario where we would like to use Alfresco:
a) We would like to give our partners exclusive rights to their own spaces and not to be able to view the spaces of other partners. We also have access to the partners spaces.
b) A space for general access should be available with content for all partners.
Is this possible with Alfresco and how would we define something like this?
Many thanks in Advance

Hi,
We can do this by delete user name EVERYONE in manage user options
This user has got role of editor, so that everyone can access your space or content.
If you delete this user then only admin or space owner can see the space contents
Manish..

You simply need to remove the 'EVERYONE' user from the invited user list for the Company Home space. Then create each partner "user" and home space for them. Each partner user will then only have access to their own space and sub folders.
Thanks,
Kevin
